Pescheria Spadari |
- Milan's Most Elegant Fisherman - Pescheria Spadari
|
Watch out travelers! We know that the first thing that comes into your mind when thinking about Italian food is Pizza. But frutti di mare is also a big part of south Italian's food tradition. That's why we have a special recommendation for seafood lovers! Born in 1993, Pescharia Spadari is perhaps the oldest fisherman in Milan. Certainly, the most noble and elegant. The restaurant offers a variety of fish specialties. These are, however, not all part of the aperitivo accompanied food. Wednesday is instead dedicated to aperitivo: from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm with 15 euros you will receive a glass of wine and a plate of cold and hot tasting. Of fish, of course!

Magenta |
- Italian Piazza feeling meets aperitivo
|
Have you ever wondered where Italians meet for a Spritz, watch their favourite soccer team or just chat over a glass of Chianti? Well, this bar is called Magenta and is the Milanese institution when it comes to aperitivo. Founded in 1907 bar Magenta even claims to have invented the Milanese aperitivo phenomenon and there is good reason to believe them! Happy Hour starts as early as 5pm and consists of a great buffet with warm and cold dishes. The cocktail menu consists of the old classics and is representative of the philosophy of the bar: good quality and Italian tradition. During summer there is a little square which is always super crowded and this resembles the typical Italian piazza on a warm evening. Once you enter the bar you will find yourself surrounded by wood and art deco-like ornaments which are reminiscent of the old glory of Milan.
Come here for a real Milanese experience and watch families, couples or friends having a good time. |
